Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai serial: Rohit Purohit replaced Shehzada Dhami in the Samridhii Shukla starrer show about two months back. When he entered the show, fans had their reservations if he would be able to do justice to the role. However, the actor was quite successful in winning the audience’s heart and today has successfully established himself as Armaan Poddar. The actor in a recent interview stated that while he is immensely grateful to the makers of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai for giving him the opportunity to play Armaan, portraying the character has been a roller coaster ride for him. Rohit Purohit reveals why portraying Armaan Poddar has been a roller coaster ride

In an interview with India Forums, Rohit Purohit stated that be it Armaan’s relationship with the family members or his love story with Abhira (Samridhii Shukla), makers always try to bring out new layers of Armaan on screen. He states that playing Armaan has been a roller coaster ride as the makers keep on surprising him with new twists and turns which in turn give him an opportunity to explore new sides of his character. In the same interview, Rohit stated that his family never misses a single episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and how they are his biggest cheerleaders as well as critics. The family also very keenly watches his performance and tells him how proud they are of him. In the upcoming episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, there’s a possibility that the makers will show the first pre-wedding ritual of Armaan and Ruhi soon. Shruti Panwar, who portrays the character of Vidya Poddar, shares a fun video with her co-stars Shruti Rawat and Preeti Choudhary. While the video was a fun one where the trio was dancing their hearts out, it also gave a glimpse of the upcoming track of the show, which will most probably be Ruhi and Armaan’s sangeet ceremony.
