She also clarified rumors circulating that the film had received approval from the censor board, stating they are false. Despite these obstacles, Kangana is set to make her solo directorial debut with this intense political drama, where she takes on the role of Indira Gandhi, delivering a powerful and compelling performance. The film also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Shreyas Talpade as former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Anupam Kher as Jayaprakash Narayan, Mahima Chaudhry as cultural activist Pupul Jayakar, and Milind Soman as Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw.
