Jigra is quite special for Alia Bhatt, as she is also the movie’s producer. This is Alia’s second movie as a producer with Eternal Sunshine Productions after her 2022 critically-acclaimed film Darlings. Recently, the actress revealed why she signed the movie after her daughter Raha Kapoor’s birth. Alia stated, “When I signed Jigra, I think I was in my tigress mode. I was in my most protective mode—like, ‘No one come near her,’ mode. That was the energy. That is why I always say destiny, luck, and life have so much to play in things going a certain way.” For Vedang Raina, the movie marks his first theatrical release. The actor made his acting debut in 2023 with the Netflix film The Archies.
