Actress Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya has been arrested in Queens, New York. As per the reports, the actress’ sister has been accused of killing her ex-boyfriend Edward Jacobs and his friend Anastasia Star Ettienne. The duo were brutally killed in a fire as Aliya set ablazed a two-story garage. Edward and Anastasia died from smoke inhalation and thermal injurie.

In an interaction with the Daily News, District Attorney Melinda Katz called this a malicious act that ended the lives of two people. Nargis Fakhri’s sister Aliya has been denied bail in the matter. So far, the Rockstar actress has not spoken up on the incident and her sister’s arrest.
Further in this entertainment news, Nargis’ mother has reacted to Aliya’s arrest and has denied the allegations. “I don’t think she would be killing someone. She was a person who was caring for everybody. She tried to help everybody,” reported several news websites. On the other hand, Edward Jacobs’ mother said that the relationship ended a year ago. However, Aliya reportedly didn’t stop pursuing her ex-boyfriend.
The report also states that Jacobs and Ettienne were not romantically involved. They were just friends. One of the witnesses revealed that when he saw the fire, he tried to help Anastasia. However, he jumped over the barrier to escape from getting hurt. Anastasia went back in the building to save Edward Jacobs. The witness stated, “We had to jump over it to escape. Star jumped over with me, but then she went back in to save Jacobs. It was an abusive relationship. She had told everyone before that she was going to burn his house down and that she was going to kill him. We just laughed it off.”
