A group of terrorists opened fire on an Army jawan in the Tral area of Awantipora in Pulwama in Jammu and Kashmir, injuring the soldier.
According to a report in ANI, the Army jawan was on leave and had come home. The jawan was shot in the leg and was immediately rushed to a hospital for treatment.
His condition is said to be stable. Meanwhile, the area has been cordoned off by security forces, official sources told the news agency.
