Taron Egerton has expressed his desire to do another Kingsman movie.
The actor, who stars in two series entries – 2014’s Kingsman: The Secret Service and 2017’s Kingsman: The Golden Circle – offered hope to fans wanting to see him return as Eggsy, a spy recruited into a top-secret organisation committed to safeguarding the globe.
“I believe that was said by somebody from Fox, I think,” Egerton tells ScreenRant in response to comments made by 20th Century Studios president Steve Asbell previously indicating there are no plans for a sequel in the near future.

“I think…I don’t know, and I don’t want to speak out of school, but I don’t think that necessarily means that we won’t do it. I think [director] Matthew [Vaughn] and I very much want to do one more. I want to do one more. And so while, you know, we don’t have a shoot date yet, I think it could still happen.”
While Egerton was careful not to over-promise, it’s clear he and Vaughn have spent some time thinking about how to do a follow-up. The last film, released in 2021, limped to a disappointing $125m global box office, which explains why the studio is tentative on a sequel.
The previous two films made $414m and $344m respectively, however, so there’s still money to be made. In 2022 Vaughn confirmed the existence of a fourth film titled Kingsman: The Blue Blood, telling ETimes “It’s all up to everyone out there. If they keep watching it, we’ll make more.”
