Anupamaa star Aashish Mehrotra who played the role of Toshu in the show recently left his fans shocked with his departure from the serial news. On May 9, he shared a heartfelt note on social media and spoke about his four-year-long journey that comes to an end. He spoke his heart out about the bond he shared with his co-stars including Rupali Ganguly, Sudhanshu Pandey and others.

In an interview with TOI TV, Aashish said that he never had to follow a straight line and always had a zig-zag to follow. He even said that it was challenging and fun at the same time. He was thrilled to play the role of Toshu in the show and said that people loved him for his performance. He added that he made a family for life and was first connected to Sudhanshu as he was playing his father in the show. He even said that later he connected with Rupali Ganguly and still calls her ma’am. He even said that he and Rupali are Arian partners and they used to do fun on the sets.

Aashish even spoke about the rumours of him doing Khatron Ke Khiladi 14 and said that he has no idea about it. He said that he had been reading about it and thinking when this happen as he did not sign anything. Aashish concluded by saying that he wants to do good work and medium does not matter to him.
