7 Dead, 15 Injured As Bus Carrying Devotees From Maha Kumbh Falls Into Gorge In Gujarat

At least seven people were killed and 15 injured after a bus carrying pilgrims from Maha Kumbh Mela fell into a gorge in Gujarat’s Dang district on Sunday. 

The incident took place at around 5:30 am on Sunday when a private bus returning from Prayagraj fell into a 200-foot gorge ono the Nasik-Surat Highway in Saputara Valley in Gujarat’s Dang district. 

According to preliminary information, the accident took place as the driver lost control of the bus. 

All the deceased and injured were from Madhya Pradesh.
