Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s son Aryan Khan is soon to make his directorial debut with a web series called The Ba***ds of Bollywood. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan announced the title of the web series at an event organised by Netflix, revealing the slate of upcoming projects. A teaser video was also launched that left fans intrigued. There is great mystery around Aryan Khan’s directorial venture as everything about it has been kept under wraps. Recently though, reports suggested that Kill actor Lakshya is going to be the male lead of the show. So who’s the heroine?
If reports are to be believed, actress Sahher Bambba has been roped in to play the female lead. As per a report in HT, Lakshya and Sahher will be the anchors of the show.
Who is Sahher Bambba?
The actress hails from Himachal Pradesh. She marked her Bollywood debut with the film titled Pal Pal Dil Ke Pass. The movie also marked the Bollywood debut of Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol. The film did not do well at the box office. Later, Sahher appeared in Disney+Hotstar’s web series The Empire. She was also a part of the show called Dil Bekaraar. Sahher has also dabbled in music videos. She was seen in B Praak’s music video Ishq Nahi Karte. It featured Emraan Hashmi.
Apart from Lakshya and Sahher Bambba headlining Aryan Khan’s web series, reports state that Bobby Deol and Mona Singh are also going to play a pivotal role in the web series. A few months ago, a video of Bobby Deol hugging Aryan Khan during the wrap-up party had gone viral. Reports suggest that stars like Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and many more will be seen in special appearance in the web series.
The Ba***ds of Bollywood is said to be a satirical take on the lives of Bollywood stars. Shah Rukh Khan has promised fans that the web series is going to be the cheekiest, funniest, whackiest of all. The release date of the series is yet to be revealed. We are waiting!
