Bill Belichick and his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, are no strangers to jokes about their 48-year age gap, and they proved they could laugh along with the best of them.
At the 2025 NFL Honors on Thursday, February 6, Snoop Dogg took aim at the couple’s large age difference during his opening monologue. While Belichick, 72, and Hudson, 24, sat front and center, Snoop started off by saying, “I remember back when the Chiefs was bad,” before quipping, “And I remember… what was it — Bill Belichick’s girlfriend wasn’t even born yet?”
The camera cut to the couple, who appeared to take the jab in stride. Belichick gave a knowing smile, while Hudson, stunned for a moment with her mouth wide open, closed her eyes and laughed, clearly unbothered by the comment. Prior to the ceremony, they walked the red carpet together –– Belichick, wearing four Super Bowl rings, and Hudson, wearing the other two.

The age gap between the couple — the former cheerleader just a toddler when Belichick won his first Super Bowl with the New England Patriots in 2002 — has been the subject of public scrutiny since they reportedly started dating in early 2023. They received some playful ribbing during Netflix‘s The Roast of Tom Brady special in 2024 from past Patriots teammates, including Rob Gronkowski who jabbed, “Coach, you used to talk about Foxborough High School when we sucked… But now I know why you were so obsessed with Foxborough High School: you were scouting your new girlfriend.”

The former Pats QB also had some words for his old coach during the roast. “When somebody asked me which ring was my favorite, I used to say, ‘The next one,'” Brady started out before joking, “Now that I’m retired, my favorite is that Ring camera that caught Coach Belichick slinking out of that poor girl’s house at 6 a.m. a few months ago.”
Before his relationship with Hudson, Belichick was married to Debby Clarke, his college sweetheart. The couple tied the knot in 1977 and had three children together — Amanda, 41, Stephen, 37, and Brian, 30. However, after more than 29 years of marriage, they divorced in 2006. After Clarke, Belichick famously dated TV presenter Linda Holliday for 16 years, but the pair split in 2023.
