Imran Khan revealed that Ranbir Kapoor got them vodka to drink at the backstage. On the Moments of Silence podcast, the Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na actor said, “Honestly, the awards night was quite stressful because I was less than a year in the industry and knew that people like Mr. (Amitabh) Bachchan would be in the front row. It was very scary. After the dress rehearsal, Ranbir showed up with expensive vodka. Every time we were off the stage, we had a few sips before getting back on to continue with the show. Imran and Ranbir hosted the Filmfare Awards in 2009. In the same interview, Khan recalled the days when he walked the ramp with Kapoor, which was hosted by Karan Johar. “I have never been comfortable with stage shows, ramp walks, etc. Actual models walk with a sense of presence and confidence, and all I’m thinking of is not fall down on stage. On the work front, Imran Khan was last seen in the 2015 film, Katti Batti, which also stars Kangana Ranaut. In an interview, the actor revealed that he was going through scripts to make a comeback in the acting world. He was looking at the script of Disney+ Hotstar’s spy series, which is helmed by Abbas Tyrewala. However, the project is now scrapped after Hotstar was taken over by Jio recently.
