Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava to break record of THIS Shah Rukh Khan movie at the box office?

It has been a month since Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava was released in theatres. Directed by Laxman Utekar, Vicky portrays Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj in the historical period drama. The movie received mixed reviews from critics but the audience was impressed with it and made it a box office hit. It looks like Vicky’s film is getting very close to breaking a record of one of Shah Rukh Khan’s 2023 blockbuster films. The movie we are talking about is Pathaan. Shah Rukh Khan’s film was released in January 2023 and made a box office collection of Rs 543.22 crore in India. On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava has collected Rs 534.1 crore at the box office so far (Day 27). Considering there has been no big movie released in theatres for quite some time, it looks like Vicky is all set to surpass the SRK starrer. As reported by Times Now, after Pathaan, it would be interesting to see if the Laxman Utekar-directed film manages to beat the record created by Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the 2023 action thriller film made a box office collection of Rs 554 crore in India. Meanwhile, along with Vicky Kaushal, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Akshaye Khanna, Ashutosh Rana and Divya Dutta.
