Yuzvendra Chahal and Dhanashree Verma divorce: A major update has come in the divorce case between Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal and his estranged wife, Dhanashree Verma. There had been rumours about the alimony amount, with some speculating it could be Rs 60 crore.
However, the Bombay High Court has allowed the couple to skip the usual six-month cooling-off period after the divorce. The court has instructed the family court to finalise the divorce by March 20, ahead of Chahal’s participation in the IPL 2025 season starting on March 22. According to a report from Bar and Bench, it’s now confirmed that Chahal will pay Rs 4.75 crore in alimony, with Rs 2.37 crore already paid.
