Following the release of Nadaaniyan, the acting of Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan have faced harsh criticism and relentless trolling on social media, putting their acting skills under intense scrutiny. Recently, Pranit More, the stand-up comedian has been grabbing everyone’s attention with his jokes on Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s acting in Nadaaniyan and says that Janhvi Kapoor is now his favourite actress. He also mentioned that the judge asked Saif Ali Khan’s attacker to watch Nadaaniyan twice instead of giving them a death sentence as punishment.
In a video shared from his show, he spoke about Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor’s acting in Nadaaniyan and said, “Khushi Kapoor alag level par chal rahi hai—kya haga hai, lekin consistently haga hai. Khushi ki last movie (Loveyapa) Junaid Khan (Aamir Khan ke bete) ke saath aayi thi, usne uski image kharab kar di. Ab wali movie Saif Ali Khan ke bete Ibrahim Ali Khan ke saath hai, aur uski bhi image kharab kar di.”
He further added, “Aisa lagta hai jaise Khushi Kapoor ne kasam kha rakhi hai ki Dil Chahta Hai mein jin-jin logon ne kaam kiya hai, sabke bacchon ki g** maarni hai. Akshaye Khanna khush hai, soch raha hoga ‘Accha hua shaadi nahi ki!'”
While speaking about Ibrahim Ali Khan’s acting, the comedian said, “Usne itna kharaab kiya hai ki Saif ke attacker ko judge ne bola, ‘Tujhe faansi nahi denge, tujhe Nadaaniyan do baar dekhni padegi.’ Woh bechara chilla raha hai, ‘Gala kaat do mera! Yeh bawasir nahi dekhna hai!”
Talking about Nadaaniyan, the film was released on Netflix on March 7 and it was directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment. The film stars Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, alongside Mahima Chaudhry, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, and Jugal Hansraj.
