Elon Musk-owned X’s director of engineering Haofei Wang left the company, with his departure coming all of a sudden, reported tech outlet The Verge, citing anonymous sources.

Accordingly to a LinkedIn account in his name, Wang was an engineer at Twitter from October 2021 to August 2023. His bio says he was the Head of Product Engineering at X from July 2023, but a departure date has not yet been updated.
