Anuj, Anu come close as they start preparing for Aadhya’s birthday celebration
The episode of Anupamaa starts with Anu (Rupali Ganguly) reaching Anuj’s place. She tells Anuj that she is very excited that finally, after 5 years, she will be celebrating her daughter’s birthday with her. Anuj, who was supposed to tell Anu that she can’t be a part of Aadhya’s birthday celebration, finds it difficult to tell the same. Anuj and Anu start preparing for Aadhya’s birthday celebration. They blow balloons and do the decoration of the house. Anu mistakenly sticks her hair with a cellotape; Anuj helps her to remove it. Then Anuj feels a little electric shock. Anu angrily scolds him for not taking care of himself. Both the scenes show how Anuj and Anu still share the unsaid love and feelings for each other.
Talking about the upcoming episode, Rahul, who works as a waiter in Spice N Chutney, is the real culprit behind the whole food fiasco. Rahul hates Toshu (Gaurav Sharma) as he feels that Toshu is always given priority and even his biggest mistakes go unnoticed because he is Anu’s son. Rahul plants cockroaches in the biryani as he knows that everyone’s doubt will directly go towards Toshu. After the food critic leaves the restaurant, almost everyone thinks that Toshu has deliberately put cockroaches in the biryani.
