Did Rajan Shahi stop Sudhanshu Pandey aka Vanraj from quitting? Actor says ‘Humne apne apne paksh…’

Anupamaa TV serial had Rupali Ganguly, Gaurav Khanna and Sudhanshu Pandey playing the leading roles. However, now Sudhanshu Pandey has marked his exit from Rajan Shahi’s show. He essayed the role of Vanraj Shah who was technically the villain in Anu’s life. Anu was married to Vanraj Shah but they got divorced and she married Anuj Kapadia. Sudhanshu Pandey’s sudden exit from Anupamaa came as a shocker to all and also led to many speculations. There were rumours suggesting that he left because of tiff with Rupali Ganguly and Rajan Shahi. In a latest interview, he revealed what exactly happened on his last day of shoot. In an interview with entertainment news portal Zoom, Sudhanshu Pandey shared that the day he informed his decision to quit Anupamaa was his last day of the shoot. He added that he informed Rajan Shahi the same day of his exit. There were several discussions that took place before he made the decision but there were some reasons due to which he decided to quit. Sudhanshu further shared that it was mutually agreed upon with Rajan Shahi and the producer said that ‘Agar tereko lagta hai toh thik hai.’ In the same interview, the actor also spoke on whether Rajan Shahi tried to stop him. Sudhanshu said that the discussions had already been done and both the parties had kept their side in the matter. He further said that Rajan Shahi respected his decision to quit and that there is no misunderstanding between them. He boasted about how Rajan Shahi is a good friend and always understood his point of view. The actor was quoted saying, “Meri usse bahut hi clear shabdon mein baat hui thi. It was through a video on social media that Sudhanshu Pandey informed fans about his decision to quit Anupamaa. There have been rumours of the show undergoing a leap and some of the characters marking exit. However, there is no confirmation on the same as yet.
