Do Aur Do Pyaar star Vidya Balan reveals what she got ‘addicted’ to after The Dirty Picture

Vidya Balan has always been her candid best. The actress has often spoken her mind on several topics. As her movie Do Aur Do Pyaar released, Vidya Balan is busy with major interviews. She has spoken at length about a lot of topics including nepotism, favouritism and more. Now, Vidya Balan is in the news for her comment on smoking. In a latest interview, Vidya Balan made a big revelation and stated that she got addicted to smoking. In an interview with YouTube Samdish, she revealed that it was after The Dirty Picture that she got addicted to smoking. Vidya Balan revealed that she knew how to smoke but she didn’t really did before the film. As a character one cannot just fake it and she couldn’t have hesitation. When asked whether she still smokes, she said no. However, she also admitted that she enjoys smoking and loves the smell of smoke. The actress was quoted saying, “If you tell me a cigarette would do no harm to you, then I would do it. I love the smell of smoke. Talking about The Dirty Picture, the actress added that the movie made her feel liberated. She shared that she was scared to wear those short and cleavage revealing clothes. She added that after the film, people found her to be sexy and that is when she realised that it has nothing to do with the size. ‘It freed me’, she added.

Talking about Do Aur Do Pyaar, the movie is about a married couple who have distanced over time. They have grown apart and are trying to fill the void of love in their lives through extra marital affair. However, a trip to Ooty changes everything as they are able to reconnect.
