The odds of Donald Trump winning November’s presidential election improved in the aftermath of Tuesday’s debate between J.D. Vance and Tim Walz, according to a number of leading bookmakers.

On Tuesday, prior to the debate, PaddyPower and Betfair were both offering odds of 1/1 (50 percent) on Trump winning, but as of 2 a.m. ET on Wednesday these had both been cut to 9/10 (52.6 percent).

Before the debate Spread Ex was offering odds of 19/20 (51.3 percent) on a Trump victory, but this improved to 10/11 (52.4 percent) first thing on Wednesday.
