The Philadelphia Eagles’ injury report is far busier than that of the Kansas City Chiefs. The Eagles have 11 players on the injury report, compared to the four the Chiefs have.

The good news is the Eagles received some promising news on the issue that defensive tackle Jalen Carter has been dealing with. Carter appeared on the injury report Wednesday with an unspecified illness.
Now, Carter has been upgraded to a full participant on the second injury report.
A more concerning aspect of the injury report is that DeVonta Smith still remains on as a limited participant. The star receiver has been dealing with a hamstring issue, which has now impacted his ability to practice for two straight days.
A limited participant designation doesn’t mean that Smith would miss the Super Bowl, but being limited all week could put him in danger of suiting up.
Brandon Graham has been brought back from IR, and it was believed that he would be ready to go should the Eagles reach the Super Bowl. There is a strong hope that he will play, and Graham himself revealed he would be ready to go.
Graham also dropped the news that the Super Bowl would be his final game, meaning he is set to step away from football. The star defensive tackle could ride off into the sunset with another Super Bowl win should the Eagles win the day.
Despite the multiple players on the second injury report, the Eagles are only facing corners with Graham and Smith. Considering the game is the Super Bowl, it would be believed that both would play through their injuries, assuming doctors do not hold them out.
The Eagles are attempting to secure their second franchise Super Bowl victory. The good news is the team has now reached the big game in two of their last five seasons.
Philadelphia could run away with the game should Saquon Barkley have a good game. The star running back has been on a tear all season, securing 2,005 rushing yards in the regular season, on top of adding 442 yards in the playoffs.
Barkley is one of the Eagles’ biggest weapons, and he will be relied on even more should Smith not be able to suit up. For now, the Eagles could be facing the Chiefs without two of their stars.
