Former Congress MLA from Bilaspur Bamber Thakur was shot at by unidentified people at his residence on Friday, his security officer is also injured, news agency PTI reported. According to SP Bilaspur Sandeep Dhawan, besides Thakur, two people were injured during the alleged firing. PSO Sanjay was referred to AIIMS and Ex MLA at IGMC Bilaspur, he said, as per news agency ANI.
Visuals on social media showed an injured Bamber Thakur, also smeared with holi colours, being taken to hospital.
