The Indian Army is actively looking to improve its fleet of Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) and Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS) to enhance its surveillance, reconnaissance and attack capabilities. There is a global shift towards unmanned capabilities in the defence arena.
