Bryant won their last six games on the way to an American East Playoffs championship game win over Maine. Barry Evans scored 19 points in the Bulldogs’ 79-59 win, and now they have a date with one of the top teams in the NCAA Tournament, Michigan State. The Spartans still received a No. 2 seed despite losing to Wisconsin in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals thanks to a 27-6 regular season record.
Point guard Jeremy Fears Jr. distributes the ball around for Michigan State, and now one averages more than 13 points per game for the Spartans. Jaden Akins is the team’s leading scorer, but whoever has the hot hand will get the ball in this offense. In their last game, it was Jase Robinson who had it going, and he finished with 21 points on 4-5 shooting from three-point range in their loss to the Badgers.
Rafael Pinzon is a big guard for the Bulldogs, and he is capable of getting hot from a distance. He hit six threes in a game earlier this month but is coming off a game in which he was only 1-6 from beyond the arc. Earl Timberlake is another above-average-sized guard for Bryant, who excels in all aspects of the game. He is an elite rebounder for his position (8.2 rebounds per game) and can also set up his teammates (4.7 assists per game) or become the primary bucket-getter when the time calls for it (15.5 points per game).

The winner of this game will move on to the Round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament and will face either No. 7 seed Marquette or No. 10 seed New Mexico.
