In a recent interview, the Jalebi actress talked about her views on marriage and why she is not ready to tie the knot yet. She questioned why there is so much pressure on women to get married, pointing out that men do not face the same kind of societal expectations. Rhea mentioned that many of her female friends got married or had children in their 40s, and she believes that there is no right age for marriage. She added that if women are concerned about their biological clock, they have the option to freeze their eggs, even though it might be a difficult process. As reported by Hindustan Times, Rhea Chakraborty also compared the experiences of her friends who got married in their 20s and 30s with those who did so in their late 30s and 40s. The actress observed that, in her view, those who waited longer seem to be more content with their decisions. At 32 years old, Rhea shared that she does not feel ready for marriage, as she wants to focus on her professional life and achieve her goals. Further in this piece of entertainment news, Rhea stated, “I don’t want to go to a court of law for one more thing. Waha se yeh bhi permission loon k kisse pyaar karna hai (Do I take permission from there on whom to get get married)? I go for my passport; I don’t want to go for this. If you are in that place in your life where you’re thriving, I don’t think a man or being someone’s wife is going to fulfil it.”
