Gullak 4: The most heartwarming series on the OTT platform is all set to release next month. The Mishra family is chaotic but at the same time, are each other’s pillar. The series is a beautiful blend of comedy, humor, reality, and simplicity. Gullak Season 4: Jameel Khan gives an insight about the upcoming season

Talking exclusively to Bollywoodlife about Gullak 4, Jameel said, ‘There is no nervousness regarding Gullak 4. The team is confident about the upcoming season. One thing is for sure that this time the series will connect to you like no other show has connected. My character Santosh Mishra will be dealing with the complexities of parenthood. As you all can see in the trailer, Santosh dotes on his younger son. Just like every other parent, Santosh is trying to navigate himself as a parent. But yes, we have definitely retained the old essence which is simplicity and relatability.’

On being asked how much life has changed after doing Gullak 4, the actor said, ‘Let’s talk about the negative point first. Post doing Gullak, I have been getting a lot of offers of father roles that are more or less similar to Santosh Mishra. And as choosy as I am, I am concentrating only on those roles where I’ll get a chance to do something different. The positive side is that Gullak 4 is like a gem in my crown. The appreciation, the love that I have received for Gullak 4 is truly heartwarming.’

Gullak 4 premieres on Sony LIV. The first three seasons were quite popular, and fans cannot wait for the fourth season to start streaming.
