Sean “Diddy” Combs pleaded not guilty during a pre-trial hearing in New York City Friday, after additional charges were filed against him.

The recording artist and businessman faces federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution. The latest charges relate to racketeering conspiracies, alleging he forced an employee to engage in sex acts, and threatened others if they did not help him carry out sex trafficking.

During Friday’s hearing, surveillance footage from a hotel allegedly showing Combs beating an ex-girlfriend was discussed. Diddy’s attorneys argue the footage, obtained by CNN, was heavily altered by the outlet, which it denies.

Judge Arun Subramanian said both sides needed to reach a decision whether the footage can be used or not.
