Popular for his flawless comedic timing and acting skills, this actor has appeared on several TV shows and been associated with the popular comedian Kapil Sharma on several projects. Soon he underwent a rough patch that steered him in a negative direction.
We are talking about stand-up comedian, Siddharth Sagar who made his debut with Comedy Circus in 2009, and worked with Sudesh Lehri and Krushna Abhishek. He did multiple seasons of Comedy Circus and later joined The Kapil Sharma Show. Siddharth was known for doing Salman Khan’s Dabangg character and also mimicked Naseeruddin Shah’s character from A Wednesday.
He had a good professional journey but faced hurdles because of his personal life. He underwent treatment at a drug rehab center in 2017 and stayed there for four months and later revealed a shocking thing about why he became a drug addict. He shared that his mother used to mix bipolar disorder medicines into his food. He said that she wanted to take their bungalow away from him with the help of her boyfriend.
He held a press conference in 2018 to reveal all this. He accused his mother and her boyfriend, Suyash Gadgil of trying to take away all his money by making him a drug addict. He also revealed that his mother and her boyfriend allegedly sold their bungalow for Rs 80 lakh and he was beaten by four to five people.
He had said, “The last four years have been very difficult. I entered the entertainment industry in 2012, and even before that, I had become spiritual. My mother was my single parent and a good friend. When she met Suyash Gadgil, I was happy that she had found support. But after that, she started acting differently.”
However, now after a few years, he has reunited with his mother and says that she is now his support system.
