Munawar Faruqui shared how he struggled financially during his son’s Kawasaki disease treatment, vowing never to face such vulnerability after borrowing 75,000 for life-saving injections.

There was a time when Bigg Boss 17 winner and stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui faced immense challenges. In a recent podcast, Munawar shared an emotional story about his son’s illness that taught him a life-changing lesson. He revealed that his son was only 18 months old when he was diagnosed with Kawasaki disease. Munawar explained how he struggled to afford the treatment, which required three injections costing ₹25,000 each. With only ₹700-800 in his wallet, he assured the doctor that he would arrange the money. However, stepping out of the hospital, he was in shock for nearly 30-40 minutes. Munawar made 10 calls for help, and someone he had worked with previously agreed to lend him the money. He rushed to Mumbai Central, collected the amount, and returned to the hospital within three hours. Although relieved, he couldn’t smile, knowing it wasn’t his own money. From that day onward, Munawar vowed to never face financial vulnerability again.
