Shamsud-Din Jabbar was working alone when he carried out the New Year’s Day New Orleans attack that killed 15 people and injured 30 others, the FBI said today at a briefing. The FBI is investigating the incident as an act of terrorism. Jabbar, 42, is believed to have driven a pickup truck into a crowd of revelers on Bourbon Street and a key line of inquiry is whether the attack was orchestrated or inspired by a foreign terrorist group.
