
Oppo F29 Pro and F29 announced for March 20 in India. Expected features

Oppo on Wednesday (March 12, 2025) announced the launch of F29 series on March 20 in India. The Chinese smartphone company said that the Oppo F29 series will feature a 360° armour body, extreme waterproofing, and carries certification for 14+ military-grade environmental tests.
Oppo F29 series will have two smartphones: Oppo F29 Pro and Oppo F29.
Oppo F29 Pro will ship with a 6,000 mAh battery supported by an 80 W charger, while the F29 might have a similar battery but with a lesser wattage adapter.
Oppo F29 series is claimed to be of 180 grams with a 7.55mm profile. The phones will have IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water ingress.

Both, Oppo F29 Pro and F29 are rumoured to use a 6.7 inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate.
The lens protection ring on the smartphone, made of strengthened glass, sits higher than the camera lens to prevent scratches on it, the company said.
“The smartphone’s internal frame, which protects its motherboard, has been upgraded to aerospace-grade aluminium alloy.”
It is likely that Oppo will use MediaTek processors in the F29 series.
The Oppo F29 Pro will come in Marble White and Granite Black colours whereas the Oppo F29 will sell have a Solid Purple and Glacier Blue shades.
