Ramayana is one of the most awaited films that will release soon and fans are eagerly waiting for the same. Nitesh Tiwari and his producers, DNEG have roped in Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Sunny Deol on board to play the roles of Lord Ram, Raavan, Sita, and Lord Hanuman respectively. As per reports in Pinkvilla, Nitesh Tiwari and the team are shooting for Ramayana as a 2-part saga with the actors. Well, Ramayana is not a trilogy, but a two-part film. Yes, you read that right! the makers have opted for a two-part approach to tell the story due to its large scale and magnitude. As per the reports, Ramayana will be shot simultaneously. Ramayana is a 2-part saga?

The source was even quoted saying that a major chunk of Ramayana Part Two will be shot even before the release of Ramayana Part One. The entire team of Ramayana will be shooting for 350 days schedule for the two Ramayana films which include both combination scenes of the extended star cast apart from solo sequences. The two Ramayana films will be released in one year span.

Nitesh Tiwari and DNEG plan to wrap up Ramayan films by the end of 2025 and the post-production work will go on simultaneously. Well, the release date of Ramayana will be announced once the shooting of the first part is done. Apart from that, Ramayana’s official announcement will be made with a big audio-visual asset. The music of Ramayana is composed by Hans Zimmer and AR Rahman. Apart from Ramayana films, the makers are planning a Hanuman spin-off.
