Samsung on Friday (February 7, 2025) announced that its recently launched Galaxy S25 series has received over 4.30 lakh pre-orders across India, which was 20% higher than the predecessor series of Galaxy S24.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S25 series was available across 17,000 outlets across the country.
The Galaxy S25 series features three phones: Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+ and Galaxy S25 Ultra. The base model, Galaxy S25 starts at ₹80,999 while the Galaxy S25+ begins at ₹99,999, and the top-of-the-line model, Galaxy S25 Ultra opens at ₹1,29,999.
For the first time, the South Korean firm used the same processor: Snapdragon 8 Elite, across all the three phones.

With the Galaxy S25 series, Samsung has also enhanced upon the gen AI features, like Google’s Gemini Live in Hindi for Indian users.
“On the Galaxy S25 series, AI agents with multimodal capabilities are integrated within the One UI 7 platform to perform complex tasks seamlessly across apps and enable natural user interactions through speech, text, videos and images,” the company said.
The ‘Now Brief’ gives tailored suggestions to guide through the day and ‘Now Bar’ offers a new hub for ongoing activities.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has new 50 MP ultrawide sensor, a 200 MP main camera, a 50 MP telephoto with 5x zoom and a 10 MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom. The selfie camera is of 12 MP. It has a 6.9 inch screen with a 2,600 nits peak brightness and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Galaxy S25 Ultra ships with a 5,000 mAh battery.
The Galaxy S25+ features a 6.7 inch display, a 4,900 mAh battery. The S25+ sports a 50 MP main, a 12 MP ultrawide, and a 10 MP telephoto sensor. Selfie camera is of 12 MP here as well.
The Galaxy S25 comes with a 6.2 inch display, a 4,000 mAh battery, and same camera set up as S25+.
The Galaxy S25 series is available across retail stores, company’s website and online platforms, starting February 7.
Galaxy S25 Ultra comes in Titanium Silver blue, Titanium Black, Titanium White silver and Titanium Gray. Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ come in Navy, Silver Shadow, Icyblue and Mint.
