The reports of Shivangi Joshi and Harshad Chopda coming together for a TV show left everyone excited. They have a huge fan following and both have been a part of TV’s longest running serial, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. Shivangi played Naira in the second generation story of the show while Harshad played Abhimanyu in the third generation. However, once, Shivangi visited the sets while Harshad was shooting. They clicked a picture together and since then everyone wanted them to come together. Hence, recently, there were rumours that Ekta Kapoor is making a new show and they both have been cast together.
Shivangi is not replaced in Ekta Kapoor’s show?
But, a few days ago, reports said that Shivangi Joshi has opted out and she will be replaced in the show. It was being reported that Harshad Chopda‘s Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai costar Pranali Rathod is being considered for the female lead. However, now, the latest reports in India Forums say that Shivangi Joshi is not getting replaced. She is doing the show opposite Harshad.
A source close to the portal said, “Shivangi has officially signed the contract and will start shooting soon and she’s preparing for her role along with Harshad.” Well, it seems we will finally get to seem them together on-screen. Shivangi was last seen in Ekta Kapoor’s Barsatein – Mausam Pyaar Ka. She was paired opposite Kushal Tandon in the TV serial which went off-air in February 2024.
Talking about Pranali Rathod, recently, there were stories around her being finalised to play the lead role in Jhanak. The show is taking a generation leap after which Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja will quit the show. The actors have even confirmed they are quitting.
Reports stated that Pranali will star opposite Shoaib Ibrahim in Jhanak. However, nothing is confirmed yet about the TV serial and its new actors.
