Sanjay Leela Bhansali‘s popular web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is winning hearts across the globe. The web series which is streaming on Netflix has garnered a lot of praise for stars performance, storyline and plot. Well, recently actress Richa Chadha revealed that she did a take for 99 times for the Netflix show and called Sanjay a tough taskmaster. In an interview with Zoom, she said that she gave 99 takes and said that Bhansali was trying to say something and she wasn’t understanding it. She even said that she felt something was missing and insisted that it was Bhansali’s right to ask for more takes. Richa then added that Bhansali is tough to work with because he has very high standards and said that he is quite particular about the perfect frame, lighting on set and much more. She even added saying that he is perceptive and probably be the same if I had Rs 300 crore riding on one project.

She even said that she was filming a dance number when she decided to get drunk off screen. After giving 30-40 takes, she drank a little bit, but things got worse. She tried dancing after drinking, she realised she was better off pretending to be drunk.

She even recalled the time she worked with Bhansali on Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. She shared that she was quite dumb at that time and it was her third or fourth film.
