Vivo on Friday (February 7, 2025) announced the launch date of Vivo V50 smartphone in India. The extension of Vivo’s V40 series launched last year, the upcoming Vivo V50 also brings the ZEISS-tuned camera for the enthusiasts.

The Chinese smartphone maker had already confirmed the three colour variants: Rose Red, Starry Night Blue and Titanium Gray, of the V50.

However, it seems that company does not intend to launch the Pro variant along with the Vivo V50.

Vivo had previously said that the V50 is going to be the ‘slimmest’ 6,000 mAh phone in its category.

The product page created for it says that the Vivo V50 will feature a quad-curved punch hole display. It might use a 6.78 inch screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

Vivo V50 certain to use a 50 MP main ZEISS camera with OIS along with a 50 MP ultrawide lens. It will have a 50 MP front camera for selfies. The phone will continue to feature aura light.

The company has said that V50 will be IP68 and IP69 rated as well.

The V50 will ship with FuntouchOS 15 based on Android 15.

Vivo V50 will be launched on February 17 in India.
