The first round of the 2024 NBA Draft is officially in the books. While the draft lacked a surefire superstar like drafts in years past, it didn’t lack excitement.
The Atlanta Hawks held the No. 1 overall pick, and could have gone in multiple directions. However, in the end, they selected French prospect Zaccharie Risacher, leaving the other French prospect, Alexandre Sarr, to land with the Washington Wizards at No. 2.
There was one pre-draft trade involving the Portland Trail Blazers and Washington Wizards, and then four more mid-draft trades, including one involving a top-10 pick.
After 30 picks, there is still tons of talent on the board ahead of the second and final day of the NBA Draft.
