Actor-model Poonam Pandey left all her fans shocked when she pushed a fan during a pap session on Friday. As evident from videos that have gone viral, Poonam was talking to the paparazzi when a fan came from behind, and requested for a selfie with her. The moment she gave her nod, the fan got closer and tried to forcibly kiss her. This left Poonam, paps and people around shocked. The very next second, Poonam pushed the fan away. Much like the paps around, Poonam’s team too intervened and scolded the fan for making an attempt to kiss her.

But netizens were quick to call it scripted.
During a recent chat, actress Anu Aggarwal was asked for her reaction. She said, “I think agar koi aake aapko with a good feeling aapke cheeks ko kiss karna chahta hai toh it isn’t a controversial thing. Par jinke paas fame hai unko careful rehna chahiye.”
Besides Anu, Sherlyn too was asked for her opinion. Sherlyn, who appeared to look both shocked and confused asked paps if she was still alive. “Lekin who bechari toh mar gai thi na”. On being told, Poonam didn’t die, Sherlyn asked, “Kaise?”. Paps were quick to understand her dig and started laughing.
Last year, Poonam Pandey made headlines after she said she “faked” her death to begin a national conversation on cervical cancer. When Poonam’s social media account put out a statement on her having succumbed to cervical cancer at 32, ,many in the industry were left devastated. Kangana Ranaut, whose show ‘Lock Upp’ gave Pandey her reality TV star status, was the first to ‘mourn’ her ‘death’. Following her re-appearance, her critics are blamed her of engaging in a publicity stunt and being insensitive to the feelings of people living with cervical cancer.
