Govinda and Sunita Ahuja’s divorce rumours have become a hot topic of discussion today. The couple has been married for 37 years and has two children – Tina and Harshvardhan Ahuja. According to reports, the actor and his wife have reportedly been living separately for quite some time. Some reports mentioned that it was Sunita who allegedly sent a divorce notice to the Coolie No. 1 actor.
Sunita Ahuja is known for her brutally honest interviews. The star wife has never shied away from sharing her views on any matter – her husband’s stardom, him romancing top actresses during his peak career and even link-up rumours. In an old interview, Sunita was asked her thoughts on extramarital affairs, and she gave a hilarious answer with strong advice to all the ladies.
On Hautterfly, Sunita Ahuja said, “Haath jo bol ke public bolti hoon, ladkio ko or biwio ko, jindagi mein apne boyfriend, aur husband ko yeh mat bolna, ‘Mera boyfriend yaa mera kuch karta nahi.” Karega na toh itni buri tarah, sorry for my language, itna buri tarah hugta hai, itni buri jagah hugega na, nikalte-nikalte 2 saal lag jayege, lekin vo saali nikalegi nahi. Ap life se nikal jaoge, lekin nikalti nahi hai vo item.”
Meanwhile, Govinda has reacted to the divorce rumours. When asked if it’s true, he diverted the topic to his work stating, “These are only business talks going…I am in the process of starting my films.” On the other hand, the actor’s manager Shashi Sinha shared that there are problems in the couple’s married life. “There have been issues between the couple due to certain statements made by certain members of the family. There is nothing more to it and Govinda is in the process of starting a film for which artists are visiting our office. We are trying to resolve it,” Sinha told Etimes.
