Gonzaga beat St. Mary’s for the West Coast Conference championship 58-51 and are heating up at the right time of the year, winning their last four games. Georgia has been up and down this season, going on long winning streaks followed by extended losing streaks. They have won at least four games in a row three times this year but also have two four-game losing streaks.
Graham Ike is the player to keep an eye on in this one. He is averaging 17.1 points and 7.5 rebounds per game this season, leading Gonzaga in both categories. Ryan Nembhard is another big-time playmaker for the Bulldogs. He leads the NCAA in assists this season at 9.8 per game.
Silas Demary Jr. and Asa Newell will carry the heavy load for Georgia. The team’s two leading scorers combined for 45 points in their last game against Oklahoma, and they need to come up big once again here. If the duo can get hot from three, Gonzaga will have a tough time trying to slow them both down.
