LOC Kargil fame Sharad Kapoor accused of ‘sexually harassing’ a woman, FIR lodged against him

Sharad Kapoor has been a part of many movies and has been appreciated for his performances. He did movies like Josh, LOC Kargil, Lakshya and others. However, he has now landed in trouble. A case has been filed against him for alleged misbehaviour and inappropriately touching a woman. A 32 year old woman has registered a case against him at the Khar police station. As per the Khar police, the victim alleged that the actor had called her to his house instead of office and tried to misbehave with her, and also forcibly touched her inappropriately. Sharad Kapoor accused of ‘sexually harassing’ a woman

The victim revealed that she got in touch with Sharad Kapoor through Facebook. She then spoke to him through video calls and told her that he wanted to meet her to talk about the shooting. He had given his location to the victim through his phone. She reached the location and then came to know that it was not his office but his home.

She reached the place and a man opened the door. Sharad from inside asked her to come to his bedroom. Later, in the evening Sharad sent a WhatsApp message to the woman and used foul language. The victim shared all this with a friend who decided to lodge a complaint at the Khar police station.

An FIR has been registered against Sharad Kapoor under section 74 (Assault or use of criminal force against a woman), 75 (sexual harassment) and 79 (insult the modesty of any woman) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. Sharad has not shared any official statement about this yet.

Talking about LOC Kargil, the movie was a huge hit and was loved by all. It was directed by J.P Dutta and had an ensemble cast of Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgn, Saif Ali Khan, Suniel Shetty, and Abhishek Bachchan. The film was based upon the 1999 Kargil War, fought between India and Pakistan.
