Allu Arjun, who is now a Pan-India star, is all set to once again rule the big screens with the second instalment of his most loved film. Pushpa: The Rise released in the year 2021 and years after winning hearts of the masses, Pushpa 2: The Rule is set to hit the theatres on December 5. The buzz around its box office numbers and all has already began. Much before its release, the film helmed by Sukumar has created history.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is breaking records already
Pushpa 2: The Rule has created much hype and due to immense buzz multiplexes have decided to air multiples shows of the film. In Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy, history has been created, as all the six screens will show only one film and that is, Pushpa 2. Due to the long run-time of the film, each screen can showcase only three show a day of Pushpa 2. This has reportedly never happened before in the history of Gaiety Galaxy and it could probably because of lack of films releasing during the time of Pushpa 2. Allu Arjun‘s movie is going to have a clean release as no other big film is releasing on December 5.
Vicky Kaushal‘s movie Chaava was to release on December 5. However, the film has been postponed. But is now going to release on February 14, 2025. The new release date was recently announced. It is significant as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti falls on 19 February 2025. The film directed by Laxman Utekar is about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s son Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj. Vicky Kaushal plays the lead.
Coming back to Pushpa 2, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in leading roles. Rashmika is going to be back as Srivalli while Fahadh plays the role of cop SP Banwar Singh. The trailer and songs have already got fans excited for the film. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna were recently in Mumbai promoting the film. We can’t wait!
