Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai fans are in for yet another dramatic twist. Post the five months leap, fans got to witness Armaan and Abhira opting for IVF treatment to conceive. However, given Abhira’s health, the treatment fails. She is left heartbroken, and desperately wants to become a mother as she was mocked often by Kaveri and Vidya over her inability to conceive. With the failure of the treatment, all doors seemed to be closing. The only way Armaan and Abhira can have a baby now is through surrogacy.
In the upcoming episodes of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, we shall see the surrogacy track. Ruhi will agree to be the surrogate mother. In the new clips of the show doing the rounds on social media, we see Ruhi and Rohit stepping up to help Armaan (Rohit Purohit) and Abhira (Samridhii Shukla). They agree for surrogacy and reveal their decision to Armaan, Abhira. However, Armaan isn’t on board with the plan. In the new clip, we see Armaan objecting to the idea of Ruhi being the surrogate mother. He says that he does not want to be burdened with Ruhi and Rohit’s favour for the rest of his life. “Mein apni baaki ki zindagi Ruhi aur Rohit ke ehsaano ki kimat nahi chukana chahta,” he says. However, we see heartbroken Abhira trying to convince him. She says that this is the only way she can become a mother and is ready to pay any price.
Fans agree with Armaan’s opinion. One of the comments on social media reads, “This is so wrong armaan is right here usne apni aadha life poddars ki ehsaan mein kaat diya now baaki ka life ruhi and Rohit ka ehsaan par nahi jeena chahti wo ruhi ka problem ka hai dekhna yeh zaroor fip maarega.”

Eventually, Armaan will agree. As per reports, he will sign the papers and give consent to Ruhi being the surrogate mother. However, fans are already speculating some major twists. Some are speculating that Ruhi will get pregnant. Some are also wondering what will happen when Poddars get to know the surrogacy truth.
