Salman Khan has been receiving death threats for quite some time now. The year 2024 has been quite tragic for the superstar as he lost his good friend and politician Baba Siddique. Siddique was shot dead in October this year in Mumbai’s Bandra area. The Bishnoi gang, who has been threatening Salman, allegedly took the responsibility of shooting the politician. Their threats for Salman have not stopped yet.
Salman Khan jets out of Mumbai
Yesterday, Salman Khan was spotted at the Maharashtra CM oath ceremony in Mumbai. The superstar was spotting greeting his Bollywood friends Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya Balan, and others. During the wee hours, Khan was spotted at the Mumbai airport. He was leaving the city with Baba Siddique’s son, Zeeshan Siddique.
At the airport, Salman was smiling at the authorities and was accompanied by his bodyguard Shera as usual. Ever since the threats have increased, the Bajrangi Bhaijaan has been given tight security. Salman will even skip the Bigg Boss 18 shoot this week. In Salman’s absence, director-choreographer Farah Khan will take over the Weekend Ka Vaar episodes.

In April, a few men on bikes also fired shots outside Salman Khan’s house in Mumbai. Thankfully, no one from the family was hurt. The police arrested the culprits back then. Recently again, a fan threatened Salman with Bishnoi’s name when he was not allowed to meet the superstar.

On the work front, Salman’s next includes Sikandar, an action thriller movie. Directed by AR Murugadoss, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna in the lead role and it will hit theatres during Eid next year. Khan will return as the Devil in Kick 2 and is reportedly collaborating with Ek Tha Tiger director Kabir Khan for another project. He also has Tiger Vs Pathaan with SRK.
