Rupali Ganguly and Gaurav Khanna starrer Anupamaa is in the news. Sudhanshu Pandey was loved as Vanraj Shah in the TV serial but he is not a part of the show now. Sudhanshu recently announced this on Instagram. He told his fans that he has not been shooting since Raksha Bandhan episode and hence, wanted his fans to know that he is not going to play Vanraj Shah. He apologised to his fans for taking this abrupt decision and also thanked everyone for loving him as Vanraj for four years. He further said that he is leaving because he wants to explore more things and will be seen again on-screen with other characters.
This news left everyone shocked. People still hope that it is a joke and requested Sudhanshu Pandey to take back his decision. His costars are also upset with his decision to leave the show. After he left, a lot was being said about his exit. Fans noticed that he has unfollowed Rajan Shahi on Instagram. This was a big story in Entertainment News.
Pankit Thakker to play Vanraj Shah?
This made people feel that something is not right. A few reports in Times Now said that he left because of his fights with Rupali Ganguly. India Forums also stated that he was asked to leave because of his attitude and politics. Now, a report in Times Now says that Sudhanshu left the set abruptly.
The source informed them that he was on the set during Raksha Bandhan and just went away. Nobody knew he left Anupamaa until they were informed about it. The source added that nobody knew why he left or if he had any issues. Now, the portal has also revealed that after Sudhanshu’s exit, the makers are planning to bring in a new Vanraj.

And, Dill Mill Gayyee actor Pankit Thakker has given look test as well. His look test reportedly happened on August 29 and it went well. The makers are reportedly considering him as Vanraj in the show and feel that he can be a perfect one.
